Where Will
My Children Go During The Service?
Your children will love LifePoint. We provide fun, hands-on Bible lessons and activities every Sunday morning designed especially to help them learn the truths of the Bible. We also provide a safe, cozy nursery for the little ones. Your children will not be in a separate building from you, so it is just a short walk down the hallway to check on them any time you need to. Our Children's Ministry leaders are parents just like you who value every child and treat them with the utmost care and attention. Will I Have To Stand Up In
Front Of People?
No. While the people at LifePoint are genuinely interested in getting to know you, we will never call on you or embarrass you in any way. You can relax and enjoy the music, message, and meeting new people.
Do I Have to
Dress Up?
Not unless you want to. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most it simply means wearing casual clothes. Contrary to church tradition, the New Testament clearly teaches us that the church building is not the "house of God." It is simply a building. The New Testament tells us to dress modestly and decently so we do not become a distraction or burden people unnecessarily by requiring them to dress up in fancy clothes they do not normally wear just to "go to church." Wherever we go, we are God's house, so there is no need to put on special clothes on Sunday when the church gathers together.
What Kind of Teaching Will I Hear?
At LifePoint we believe the Bible is the Word of God, and it is our sincere desire to preach the Bible in all its truth without watering anything down. But we also want to teach it in love, and in ways that are interesting and relevant to your daily life, just as Jesus did. But why not find out for yourself? You can click here to listen to any of our sermons online right now.
What Kind Of
Music Do You Have?
The short answer is – all kinds. But while we use many styles of music, we take care to make sure that our music serves as a catalyst to worship, not a distraction. What is most important is that our worship is not about us. It is about Him. It is about coming together as a church, laying down our personal preferences and lifting our thoughts and voices in unified worship toward our heavenly Father.
